An Orality Primer for Missionaries
I am Daniel Sheard, and it is my pleasure to introduce “The Preacher’s Coach,” a repository of resources dedicated to the art and soul of preaching in the church and the world.
Currently, I serve as the Chair of Curriculum and Professor of Preaching at Summit International School of Ministry in Grantville, Pennsylvania, and teach theology for the Rawlings School of Divinity at Liberty University’s online program. While my expertise spans several areas, I specialize in the intersection of orality and literacy in the context of preaching.
The Preacher’s Coach is more than just a personal blog; it is a platform where I share insights, reflections, and audio recordings to support and enrich the preaching community. While my direct coaching engagements may be limited, I am always available to offer guidance and support to those looking to enhance their preaching. I encourage you to reach out and join a discourse that aspires to elevate the act of preaching within the contemporary cultural milieu.
